One Employee’s Accreditation Journey Enriches Our Training Program
At CTG Luxembourg PSF, we believe in empowering our professionals to reach new heights in their careers. One shining example of this is Joanna Wolska, Service Manager, who recently obtained her ITIL Foundation Accreditation. She is now a certified ITIL trainer for CTG Academy Luxembourg, our unique program designed to meet the training needs of professionals. Joanna's journey was guided by Eddy Peters, Principal ITSM Consultant and Senior Trainer at CTG Belgium. In a recent interview, Joanna and Eddy shared their experiences and insights into the world of ITIL and the benefits of CTG Academy in Luxembourg.
Your Gateway to ITIL Excellence in Luxembourg
CTG Academy Luxembourg is dedicated to providing world-class ITIL training and certification programs to meet the evolving needs of the Luxembourg market. We understand that Luxembourg's business landscape is continually transforming, and our mission is to empower IT professionals with the knowledge and skills they need to thrive in this dynamic environment. To achieve this, we support the continuing education and certification of employees like Joanna.
Eddy highlighted the evolving landscape of service management, emphasizing the shift from structured, process-driven approaches to more flexible and agile organizational structures that prioritize customer needs and generate outcome-based experiences. The latest version of ITIL, ITIL 4, addresses these shifting needs and helps organizations adapt to changing customer expectations. CTG Luxembourg's accreditation as an ITIL training center in Luxembourg is a significant milestone, allowing us to coach others on the benefits of ITIL and partner with organizations seeking the latest service management solutions.
ITIL Accreditation Journey
Joanna embarked on her accreditation journey with a deep-seated passion for ITIL. She recognized the value it brings to organizations by moving from a process-driven approach to a more fluid, customer-centric approach. Her journey was driven by a desire to embrace this new approach and share her knowledge with others.
Eddy, our seasoned ITIL expert, played a crucial role in Joanna's journey. As an accredited trainer, Eddy had to ensure that Joanna met all the requirements to become a certified trainer. He acted as both a mentor and a controller, ensuring that Joanna received the necessary training and feedback. Her journey toward becoming a trainer unfolded over four training sessions, with Eddy gradually taking a back seat and providing feedback as Joanna assumed the lead.
Qualities for Success and Joanna's Achievements
When asked about the qualities essential for success in the program, Eddy emphasized the importance of confidence and the ability to connect with and engage the training attendees. He pointed to Joanna's natural ability to take her trainees on a journey, explaining complex concepts and fostering understanding.
Joanna's success stories were evident. Her immediate achievement was securing the ITIL Foundation Accreditation without any additional questions. She also demonstrated her capability to think ahead and consider future organizational needs, a quality that Eddy recognized and admired. It was during the last session that Joanna truly shone, taking the lead and delivering impressive results for her trainees.
Personal Growth and New Skills
For Joanna, the journey brought about personal growth and the opportunity to build new skills. Her naturally shy demeanor was gradually replaced with a growing sense of confidence. She noted that the experience of becoming a trainer constantly challenged her, helping her evolve and adapt to different people's needs and learning styles.
Eddy Peters added that the process of training and interacting with people often led to the generation of new ideas and creative solutions, offering a unique learning experience for the trainer and trainees alike.
As Joanna looks to the future, she plans to continue her training journey. For now, she is focusing on ITIL Foundation, and she may consider exploring other areas of ITIL in the future. Her journey as a trainer is just beginning, and she's eager to share her knowledge with others.
Supporting Employee Development
Joanna's accreditation enriches CTG Academy in Luxembourg and solidifies our reputation as an exceptional training organization. Eddy emphasized the significance of diversity and inclusivity, highlighting the importance of women's contributions to CTG Academy. Indeed, two other women at CTG Luxembourg are in the process of becoming certified trainers on other technologies: IREB and ISTQB.
At CTG Academy in Luxembourg, we're proud to support and celebrate the achievements of our team members like Joanna. Her journey reflects our commitment to nurturing talent, fostering personal growth, and adapting to the evolving world of ITIL and service management.
